Sculpture Project: Mask 3

This mask is a part of my Sculpture Project collection.

This mask was the first one I created, and partly what initially inspired me to use blindfolds as my theme. I wanted to use thes ribbons and bows to make a kind of pretty, "gift" themed mask. I experimented with the shape and color of the face by shading with purple and under the cheeks and in the eye sockets (you can see through to it a little bit, though I'm not quite sure if it turned out in this photo). I wanted to make the mask look very conventionally pretty, and also a bit pouty or snooty.
one problem with this mask, technically, were the bows. They kept falling off in transit, and I had to glue them back on again countless times.

I've been told that this mask looks like a flapper, and also that it looks Slavic. What do you think?
